Ersin Yazıcı, who was born in Düzce Gümüşova in 1969, graduated from Istanbul University in 1990. He started his career as District Governor in 1992. He attended an internship in England. between 1995-1997 he worked as Burdur Karamanlı District Governor, between 1997-1999 as Artvin Ardanuç District Governor, between 1999-2001 as Deputy Governor of Muş, between 2001-2003 as Deputy Governor of Nevşehir, between 2003-2005 as Deputy of Administrative Affairs Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, betweeen 2005-2007 as Deputy Secretary General of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, between 2007-2009 as the Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department of the Interior Affairs, and from 2009 to 2014, he worked as the Secretary General of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. In 2014, he completed his MA on “Management Sciences” at Kocaeli University. He served as Rize Governor between 2014-2016 and Balıkesir Governor between 2016-2020. He started his duty in Antalya Governorship on 22.06.2020, where he was appointed with the Appointment Decision dated 10.06.2020 and numbered 2020/273.
Yazıcı is married, has 4 children and speaks English fluently.
